The Batam City Government again received an award from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpanrb) for services provided through the Public Service Mall (MPP).
The award was given by the President of the Republic of Indonesia represented by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Puan Maharani during the Real Work Week of the Mental Revolution
in Manado. On Friday (10/26), Batam Deputy Mayor Amsakar Achmad who represented the Batam City Government in receiving the award.
“Pemko Batam received an award for its commitment to providing public services to the world class,” said Amsakar in Engku Putri, Monday (10/29).
According to him, only two cities received awards, namely Batam and Tomohon. While at the district level, awards were given to Karangasem and Banyuwangi.
“Thanks to the people in Batam who have shown their critical power, contributed suggestions, so that from time to time we fix the service,” he said.
MPP Batam also continues to improve services. Currently there are 420 types of licensing and non-licensing services from 30 agencies.
Almost every day, said Amsakar, other regional representatives visited Batam to learn about MPP. Within a week at least three to four regions came to study replica.
“Batam has become a national pilot project. Until now the area thought to be a place of study mimic. Tomorrow guests from Solok will come, focus on MPP. Because this Solok will also be determined by Menpanrb to become a pilot area for MPP. So they were asked to study patterns in Batam, “he said.
Head of Batam City Investment and One Stop Service (DPMPTSP), Gustian Riau said President Joko Widodo’s Nawacita is closely related to the Mental Revolution. In this case, one of them is improvement in the public service sector.
“We will continue to improve services. With this, MPP Batam has won eight awards, “he added.
